The Edmonton Eskimos have added some height to their defensive line, in signing six-foot-six, 234-pound defensive end Willie Jefferson.
The 23-year-old played his college football at Stephen F. Austin University and had 36 tackles, eight sacks and five forced fumbles as a senior. He was with the Houston Texans last season and played in six games before being released Oct. 21. He had two tackles for the Texans in that time.
The Eskimos roster now sits at 73 players.
